If I had the power to make one wish for you, I would find it very hard to decide what gift to give - what gift would help you to happiness? Beauty is dangerous, wisdom must be earned, love is of your own choosing. But in the end, I am cetain I would choose the best gift of all - and that is courage.

Oh, Good Grief

As I mentioned in my 100 things, I have my profile on a singles dating site. I have still not decided whether this is a good or a bad thing. However, it’s certainly providing me with some “interesting” contact with people. Below is a message I received recently:

Hi xxx,
you have stolen my heart with those lovely, big, beautiful eyes of your's so i may as well send it to you!!!!!!
A fish girl?No height, no weight, no thoughts on love or intimacy,a bit of a mystery girl???
So dad was a rugby fan and you were an only child------ so sorry!!!!
I came to the HB in the late 60's when Waikato challenged for the shield as a 15 year old boy and we were thumped; Kel Tremain, Davis, Crawford. Your dad would remember them no doubt.My cousin made the AB's in 1976 and toured France but i gave it away when i was 22 to concentrate on my cows!!
I'll take you to the pyramid's and to anywhere else your little heart desires in the world if you keep looking my way with those beautiful eyes!!!!
Check out my profile and my handsome features and drop us a line sometime,hidden secrets await!!!!
I think you'r "FAB"
F= fabulous
A= attractive
B= Beguiling!!!!
With best wishes and kindest regards
Cheers red rabbit

Barely do I get a chance to peruse this guys’ profile, and wonder about his expression of un-dying love, and ponder the hidden secrets awaiting me, when I get this ………

Hi xxx,
do the girls in the Hawkes Bay area not speak to the opposite sex or have manners!!!!!
A reply to indicate your intentions one way or the other is always appreciated!!!!
Anyway i don't hold it again'st you in any way and would like to wish you all the best in your search and your time on the FSO site.
I hope the weather is as glorious your way as it is in the Waikato today.
This ship will sail right on by; red sails in the sunset.
Red rabbit fades away-------

And ya wonder why I haven’t been to coffee with anyone? Sheesh!

Well, this is the wierd stuff that your blogmama warned you against at the front end of this experience. The truth is that you'll meet lots of really good people out here in the blogosphere, but the simple dynamics of count data frequencies in large populations of people almost require that a certain number of loonies are gonna appear in your in box. You HAVE to handle them with care because you WILL accumulate your share of loonies here.

So... be careful.
