If I had the power to make one wish for you, I would find it very hard to decide what gift to give - what gift would help you to happiness? Beauty is dangerous, wisdom must be earned, love is of your own choosing. But in the end, I am cetain I would choose the best gift of all - and that is courage.

Pictures
Right this is gonna be quick, cause I've been trying for the last two hours to upload photos to this damn thing and blogger keeps locking up on me ... grrrr!
No 1: Gracie at her third birthday party in Christchurch. Doesn't she look like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth?
She "demanded" so nicely that I attend her partay, how could I resist.
No 2: Southern Alps from the Port Hills in Christchurch:
No 3: Christchurch city from the Port Hills lookin out towards the ocean:
It is out there somewhere, amongst the cloud ... promise.
No 4: And last but not least. Just because I can ... A WTF is this all about photo. As viewed on the side of a Catlic Church in Woodville, bumfucksville, Sthrn Hawke's Bay.
Holy hell .... just what sort of "live organs" are they keepin in this museum. The mind boggles ...
Enjoy!

Eyes Wide Shut
Yesterday, if you'd asked me I'd have told you I thought I'd moved on from events that happened in my life 12 months ago.
Today I realised that I'm still in the same place, still asking the same questions, facing the same uncertainty about where I want to be, about who I want to be.
I'm still putting one foot in front of the other, but in reality it's an existance, not a life.
And it's not good enough ...

Carrot?
What the hell is with this?
Several weeks ago I attended a makeup/body stuff party-plan kinda party. You know the type of thing ... like Avon, although this stuff is called Nutri Metics - well know makeup party brand down here in the Southern Hemisphere.
Anyway, I whipped the credit card out this night, and bought myself some face cleanser, moisturiser and the like - for sensitive skin - which is another post in itself (sandpaper rubbish product!).
So, tonight I'm getting out of the shower, as you do, and I think I'll try this Nutri-Rich Moisturising Body Satin (enriched with Apricot Kernel Oil), cause you know everything helps, aye.
Well I follow the instructions on the back of the can, and as I'm spraying away, this one word catches my eye - carrot ....
What, What, What?
Oh, yes indeedy, not only am I spraying myself with apricot kernel oil, it seems I'm spraying myself with carrot oil as well. Nice! Carrot oil?? WTF???
I bet you're pleased I'm back ...
Hunny, I'm Home ...
Lordy, it's a bit dusty in here and there's a few cobwebs hangin about the place. Look what happens when you go away and leave a house-sitter in charge!
So, where have I been over the last month? Well, let's see: Palmerston North, Christchurch, Wellington and Palmerston North again. Yup, I've been a right little traveller ... and now I'm just pleased to be home.
I've taken some interesting pics on my travels, and I will post them soon. But first I need to go and mow my lawns, before the neighbours leave me a sheep or two in the backyard!
I will be back ...
Promise.

Weighty Issues
I've resisted posting this for a while. Cos you know, us girls have our problems with weight.
The scales they go up, they go down. Normally it's me being told off on the "down" side of things, but I ignore and go on my merry little pie eating way ...
However, I do believe the youngest member of the family may have taken things a little bit to heart. This is where I have found her the last few mornings ...
Sitting on the bathroom scales.
Poor Miss Milly. Either I've got a neurotic puddy, or one that likes watching me in the shower in the mornings????

Dancin' On The Ceiling
Well not quite, but we did dance on the table.
Wonderful night. Meal cooked by a master chef (and incredibly tolerant bloke). None of us felt exceedingly well the next morning. Thank Gawd he did breakfast as well!
For your viewing pleasure, I give you ...
